Meet Scott

scott

It’s all a matter of trust and connection.    My ideal clients are: slightly geeky, fun, quirky, laid back, willing to try out crazy things.  They like my style but more importantly, we connect.  I might not be the best fit for everyone.  Not everyone has to like me or my style.  When I work with couples that I really connect with, we are much more relaxed and able to create images that are truly magic and memorable.  You can get a feel for my style and personality from viewing my website, but I prefer to meet in person so we can really get to know each other.  This allows us to make sure we are a good fit for each other and fosters trust.  If we happen to not “click”, I have a great network of other photographers I would be happy to refer you to.

I can’t wait to find out who you are.  Here are some snapshots of who I am:

I believe that people should be themselves fully and un-apologetically

I have horrible, atrocious, nearly unreadable penmanship

I pronounce the word “orange” as one syllable (ornj)

I often drop things.  Especially expensive electronics

I am neat and tidy (read: obsession)

I have been described as punctual to a fault

I crave the unusual in photography

I get bored with the same old wedding shots

I get VERY excited about creating imaginative and “different” imagery

I will travel for art

My favorite channel is the science channel

I read history for fun

I don’t like having my own picture taken

I think of my head and facial hair as a “work in progress”

I change my sideburns almost weekly

My hair has been five different colors over the last year

I feel guilty when I cheat on my hair stylist

When I brush my teeth, I use the exact same number of strokes on each side of my mouth

I love shoes, kind of like a chick

I met my wife on the Internet

I like all things pirate. Arrrgh!

I once participated in a knife throwing contest with a world class marksman
