Brittany and Tommy were married in her mothers back yard in Fallbrook, CA. The setting was beautiful and was really important to the bride. Everyone had a wonderful time and the treated me just like a part of the family. I had such a great time!

A beautiful Friday evening on a rooftop in La Jolla. There couldn’t be a more perfect spot for a wedding. I had the pleasure of shooting Roy and Kelley’s wedding on the roof of the La Jolla Cove Suites back in August. Their blended family is beautiful. I had an awesome time shooting with the fabulous Jamie Lawler. Karen Alleva of Alleva Weddings and Events did a fantastic job coordinating the event and music was handled by Joseph Sullivan. Last week I had the pleasure of doing a photoshoot with Lady Lush #777 of the Hidden City Derby Girls. Special thanks to Gia at The Loft Hair Design for hair and Makeup and to Joey at Vinz Wine Bar for letting us shoot in the bar.
Yes, you read that correctly, Derby Girls. Last week I had an awesome time watching and photographing a scrmmage of the Hidden City Derby Girls. The Murder Maids faced off against Las Luchadoras at Ups-n-Downs roller rink in Escondido. You can read an article from the North County Times about the team here. I was only there for the second half of the bout and I saw a girl blow a knee and another get a black eye. These girls are tough! Their slogan is “We maim to please” I can’t wait for the next event.
